Recently I recieved an email which stated:
"We’ve updated the billing system for your OpenAI API account. Instead of receiving a bill at the end of the month, you’ll now need to pre-purchase credits to use the API. This change should enable you to access higher usage tiers more quickly. "
So I topped up the account with credits to cover the balance for this month.
However I just received an email stating that:
We were unable to process your last payment for xxxx using your card. We’ll try to process your payment again in a few days. If we aren’t able to complete your payment by Apr 10, 2024 12:00 PM UTC , your organization’s API access will be suspended?
Why did my top up not clear the outstanding balance, I have an invoice in an open state for this month, for the amount of the outstanding balance - hence I am being billed twice?
Why am I still getting monthly invoices after being switched to a credit plan?
