Many devs asked here about openAI availability in Syria, many reported that sanctions were lifted, so why are you still blocking devs from using it, we really need it and kindly ask you to revise your policy and provide follow ups.

Sanctions and export restrictions may have changed, but service availability also depends on legal, compliance, and operational requirements. Hopefully the team can provide an official update or timeline if support for Syria is being reconsidered.

There might also be the need to have more infrastructure at disposal for the services from OpenAI, so even if regulatory aspects are ok, this is also something to consider too.
