Here’s the situation:
I registered for a free OpenAI API account. The balance shows $5. However, when I try to connect the API on Make, it says: “You have consumed all credits in your OpenAI account, or exceeded your monthly OpenAI budget.” I’ve checked my OpenAI Usage page multiple times—there’s no spend recorded, and the balance still shows $5.
Out of options, I decided to upgrade to a paid account. But then I ran into another issue—OpenAI keeps giving me an error saying it can’t add my credit card. I’m using a Canadian credit card, and both Mastercard and Visa failed.
It feels like a dead-end loop I can’t break out of. I’ve tried ChatGPT and various customer support bots, but none have offered a solution.
