I have been playing around with chatgpt as the driving force behind npc interactions in some games I’ve been modding and it has gone very well from the beginning of the project … I currently have it to a point where most of the time it plays along… It used to tell me monsters aren’t real … but now the worst I get is a short ethics lecture on why killing demons is not an action it can participate in… Net win lol
ChatGPT is poor because of its lack of conversational memory for either the game instantiation or the game state, hidden or previously output.
Try this and see if it remembers better or also allows you to run unfettered: Orc Quest and Sword
