My credit balance has not updated for the past couple of days, even though I have been accessing GPT models via the API. I’m referring to the Credit Balance found on https://platform.openai.com → Billing.
I’m generally mindful of how much I have left, as I do not want to overspend. I constantly refer back to the Billing page every couple of prompts (mostly sent via the VSCode Codex Extension and occasionally through the PI CLI tool).
I’m getting a little suspicious of the static Credit Balance value over the past few days, as I might suddenly be charged with unexpected costs that could have been avoided.
The article you shared points to platform.openai .com → data controls → sharing (tab). All three of the following options stated in the sharing (tab/page) are disabled for me:

I’m having the same issue. I haven’t changed anything but for the past few days, the credit balance has not updated despite consistent use and I also don’t have the complimentary token usage program options enabled.
