My account was deactivated!

Hello all.

I’m hoping you can help me. I got an email for ChatGPT that my account was deactivated. No warning email, just deactivated. I sent an appeal asking what I did wrong and was just told my appeal was denied. I’m not getting anywhere with openai support.

Like all of you I have hundreds of dollars and hours of work on that account and I can’t even get someone to tell me what I did wrong. Work for my consulting clients are in that account. I can’t think of anything that would have violated the terms of service. I got to believe this was done in be mistake.

Does anyone know how I could talk to an actual person? Every answer I get seems automated.

That's indeed frustrating. Could you do me a favor and report this to support@openai.com? Once you've done that, please share the case number here so I can take a look.
