Title: Misclassification of Structurally Independent Threads in the Forum (Feedback from a ChrisGPT Author)
Dear OpenAI Forum Team,
I’d like to raise a concern regarding how structurally unrelated threads are being grouped together under the same “series” umbrella.
As the author of the ChrisGPT series:
I have also published a completely separate initiative titled:
“AI Navigator: Chat-based Guide for Japanese Adults with ASD/ADHD”
However, I’ve noticed that the AI Navigator thread has been unofficially grouped with the ChrisGPT series, which is inaccurate and structurally misleading. The two projects have entirely different goals, frameworks, and intended audiences:
ChrisGPT Series: Observational reflections and symbolic interaction with a recursive AI persona.
AI Navigator: A support-design initiative focused on practical guidance for neurodivergent users in Japan.
While both may involve structural thinking, their purposes and scopes are fundamentally different.
I would like to respectfully request the following:
A clearer mechanism to separate unrelated threads from being automatically (or manually) grouped together in a “series.”
An author-controlled labeling/series assignment system.
Notification or approval prompt before a thread is categorized under an existing series.
This feedback is not out of frustration alone, but because I believe that authors and readers alike benefit from clearer structural delineation—especially in a forum dedicated to careful thinking, symbolic reasoning, and technical inquiry.
