Hello, how would I go about making an AI bot for minecraft that can respond to my commands and have knowledge about the game?

That’s a complex ambitious project you have in mind. If you are serious about learning, how to build API based AI + Minecraft setups, I can recommend the learning resources of “Emergent Garden”. More specifically the “Mindcraft Project”.
It’s a lively community with it’s own Discord server for help. This dev forum is probably the wrong place for projects like this, I think.
Expect to go through a learning curve. I had my fair share of collecting experience with putting experimental AI + simulations together. You will need patience and good problem-solving skills.
Try to start small.
actually thats what i do right now, im in development process of creating an AI that can answer any question thru chat to anyone on the server using your client via openAI API(or local LLMs api). but i actually need specific local model that knows minecraft well, and i dont have one now . we coul cooperate if u want. my discord: sosiska0110. i did manage to get it done, its now working. i need only to make basic UI, and change settings a lot. then the product will be ready and i thing im gonna publish it on github, or somewhere else.
