Is there an expiry date on the free-trial?

I received an invite to test out GPT-4 on 29 March but now then when I try and use the API I get the following error:

RateLimitError: You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details.

On my dashboard, it says I’ve used $0.16 of my $18 free allowance, but then it also says Expired 1 April 2023.

Is there a time limit on using the API?

I signed up for API access just today and Usage details shows the same expiry date (1 Apr 2023) for me. I guess there is no free trail then. :joy:

From my knowledge there’s still a free trial available, but only if you have not used the same phone number to register another account :laughing:

I registered my first account on May 10 and generated API key, but my free trial usage expired on 1 April 2023. Still wondering what could have happened…
