The rollout of o1 in the API is gradual. I have been Tier5 ever since they announced Tiers and it took several days for it to show up.

Hi Edwin, is there anywhere I can monitor to be notified once streaming support is available? Not urgent, but we do have a project waiting on the streaming support and I’d like to avoid just sending test requests periodically to see if available.

Well I’m glad it’s not just me. I’ve been a Tier 5 for almost as long as that tier was created. 
Still don’t have access to o1 via API. Hoping Santa drops it off.

Same here, has been Tier 5 since almost day 1 of user tiers, but no o1 api access. I hope I could have the API key to test the model on some of our benchmarks to be published. Anyway, happy holidays!

I get it. When someone get access to O1, he immediately starts trying it, sending tens of request, but after some time the demand cools down. OpenAI has to smooth out this peak among the developers because it is the most resource demanding model.

I am a tier 5 user and can send text based questions to o1 model.
However, I cannot send the image as an attachment. I also cannot recognize the system or develeper role. When do you think these features will be included in the API? Can you give an approximate date range, even if it is not clear?

I do recommend holding off posting here for another week and a half, the deploy is gradual and there is no way to jump the queue

I’m also a Tier 5 user who wants to have o1 access! I think I’d be so happy if I could get it. I read in a document that o1 access is available starting from Tier 5, so I made an additional payment to reach Tier 5. But after making the payment and seeing this post, I realized I’ll have to wait a bit longer—which makes me sad.

There is a discrepancy regarding access to a certain API model, despite being a Tier 5 user with a Pro subscription.
This situation is quite frustrating.
As paying customers at the highest tier, it is reasonable to expect access to the latest and most advanced API offerings.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt resolution and the opportunity to fully utilize the API model as intended.
