no support for streaming in o1 yet (just o1-mini and preview). team’s working on it!
Hey Edwin! I’m tier 5 and ChatGPT Pro subscriber but I still don’t have access to o1 through API yet. I would love to get access as soon as possible. Please let me know if there’s something that I need to do to get access.

But in most cases, managing expectations is more important.

can we get an extension for our credit expiration? some of us brought tier 5 just for the new o1 API. I thought tier 5 means tier 5. Why does some people on tier 5 get the new API and others don’t?
Don’t worry, you’ll be able to use this model to empty a balance no problem 
The existing o1-preview is not instantly obsolete and can also turn credits into data center heat.

Hey everyone, I apologize in advance if this has already been asked about as I’m sure everyone is eager to try the new O1 endpoint.
I’ve been in tier 5 for 3-4 months now, and am still not able to access the new O1 endpoint. I’ve read a few posts on X about people experiencing the same issue.
Anyone know why this is happening, or why OpenAI would post that tier 5 users would get access then not actually follow through?
