I am not able to access Sora as well.
I am getting this message - Sora is not available in India yet → This is clearly false as India is listed as supported country.

Getting the below message:

Sora is not available in South Africa yet

Please check back soon as we roll out Sora in new countries

But Plus includes it and I signed up because of that. If that was a lie I would like a refund and will not pay for a subscription that doesn’t deliver what promises.

For Sora 1 on Web, here is out list of supported countries (including India): https://help.openai.com/en/articles/10250692-sora-supported-countries

For Sora app and Sora 2, we support the US and Canada at the moment: https://help.openai.com/en/articles/12461230-sora-app-and-sora-2-supported-countries

The problem is that I am in South Africa, my country is listed for Sora 1 access, and I am getting blocked. If it’s possible to resolve that issue, I am more than happy to keep my subscription. If for whatever reason it’s not a simple fix, then I will be forced to do so.

@OpenAI_Support can you please confirm if the country block can be lifted for South Africa, considering it is in the supported country list?

I'm not seeing any specific country blocks for Sora 1 on Web on our end. Can you confirm the URL you're trying to access Sora from? A screen recording would also be super helpful so I can track the error message down to the specific page.

Thanks @OpenAI_Support , I went back to the page and it now shows a button that was not there before, which says “Go back to the old Sora”. If I click on that I can finally access Sora 1, thank you for your assistance and for solving this problem!
