Hi everyone,
Today (April 18), I’m experiencing an issue where image generation in Sora never completes — it just stays in a loading state indefinitely. I’ve tried reloading, switching browsers, and checking my internet connection, but the problem persists.
Is anyone else seeing this behavior today, or is it just on my end?
Any help or updates from OpenAI staff would be appreciated.

Got the unexpected error and after hours the error message is replaced with the actual image. Weird
Same issues received this message: “There was an unexpected error running this remix.”
Same thing happening to me, either unexpected error after awhile or just infinite preparing/load. It’s been about 6 hours now.

having the same issue. I had a lot of generated image on my existing library and I thought that was probably the reason so I cleared it and it’s the same thing I tried to generate something after 4 hours now and it’s still the same issue. Why is SORA having way too many issues recently. For the last 2 weeks its the new users (including me) who are not being able to generate videos because we are restricted due to their server issue and now I cant even generate images. I’m an AI content creator and it’s a bit disappointing not having access to what I’m paying for. I’m not talking about any refunds, I just want this to work smoothly and having full access to what I’ve been promised.
I have occasionally the same issue for video creation and as you can create one video at a time with Plus, you are kind of blocked to create new content. Video generation is just keep running, no way to cancel/trash it, as even if says trashed, it keeps running and trying to create a video.

Same issue here. It’s stuck on generating an image for 8 hours now, and nothing works when I try to cancel it. It blocks me from Creating anything else. What am I paying for?
