This auto-recharge could originate from billing system problems where the remaining balance isn’t being shown correctly for others, also reported here on the forum.

Or the funds are simply gone by flaws in the whole system.

Also cleverly daft that they closed up the expiration of purchases to not be at the end of the month. No more getting actually up to 13 months.

And in the screenshot, is it that the credits purchased later actually expire sooner in Sept 2025?

I would recommend auto recharge be shut off until someone from OpenAI says what’s going on, that it is fixed, and starts filling accounts with complementary credits for the inconvenience.

If you are here, likely too late though. Nobody on the forum can fix individual account problems, that’s the help button in platform.openai.com - where maybe 1000 “helps” might signal a pattern.
