I upgraded my tier, yet I can’t access the model? What do I need to do to get the access working? My API key works on all other models.
o3-mini was supposed to be available to users with Tier 3 access or higher, but in reality, many users seem unable to access it.

Did you get access to it yet? I’m facing the same problem.
Still have not gotten access. Wednesday will be a week, perhaps then? But as soon as I paid I got an email that said I was tier 3. Also my rate limits did increase.
I think it is more of a teaser because of Deepseek R1, they felt compelled to rush it, yet highly limit usage. This way they can say it’s out, but yet many can’t use it. I wouldn’t have spent the money if I knew I would not get access, o3-mini via API was the only reason I made the deposit!
I’m unsure about the situation, but I believe this is a significant misstep by OpenAI. The primary reason I paid the $100 was to gain access to the model.
I’m experiencing a similar issue. After making the payment, I received an email confirming my upgrade to tier 3. However, I still couldn’t access o3-mini.
This is highly unprofessional.
