Hi there! Presumably this is from API use that took place prior to you receiving the $500 in grants? If yes, then it is normal for this to be treated separately. Past usage can’t be offset by grants.

How Can I obtain a credits grant too. mine expired.
If you are operating a start-up, then you may consider applying for the Microsoft Founders Hub which would come with a range of benefits including OpenAI credits.

I’m personally not aware of other active options to receive grants but perhaps other Forum members are aware of alternatives and can add their inputs.
