I’m getting this image uploading issue in my ChatGPT mobile app from sometime. Can anyone help in this?

I tried uploading the image in both the browser and app, tried logging out, tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but nothing worked (even changed networks).

There are many types of issues that can cause this problem.
I will explain one of them and how it is solved.

Let us create that problem:

I am going to the Security section on ChatGPT web app Settings

Step 1: clicking on Security
Step 2: clicking on Log out all
Step 3: clicking on Stay logged out

Yeah! We successfully created a problem!

Why?

Because we logged out of all devices on ChatGPT web app Log out all, the mobile app was also logged out.

Interestingly, if we check the app, it appears as if it is logged in, but actually, it is not, and it does not upload any files or images.

So, all doors are locked. We need the magic words “Open Sesame Open.”

Step 6: opening the Sidebar
Step 7: clicking on the dots “…” and going to Settings
Step 8: scrolling down and clicking on Log out

We successfully Logged out

Now, let’s log in, again:

Step 9: Log in with our option
Step 10: Upload a file, it is working
Step 11: Upload an image, it is working
