Hi all, I have created/opened an account from the Republic of Kosova, is it possible for me to use my account to utilize API Services, or is it blocked since its not supported and there is a risk it will terminate my account ?
I want to use it for internal workshops and present the huge possibilities of using these API’s for Smart Coding and Intelligent Testing.

According to the list of supported countries it appears you won’t be able to use the services as of today.

True, it seems odd since both Albania and Serbia is on the list of supported. So I’m guessing this is forgetfulness on OpenAI’s end, as the Republic of Kosovo is only around ~15 years (recognized formally by the us back in 2008)
It’s likely still an option to try to pay 5$ which should be rejected in case the list is up to date.
I have had an account in the past, but it was opened during the time I was in Germany, and I did not know about the supported Countries policy, therefore I used it (API Services) from the Republic of Kosova, but my old account got terminated without warning.

I think we can safely conclude that OpenAI doesn’t support the Republic of Kosovo.

So is there a way to make a request, to consider adding our Country to the supported list, or is it only updated due to natural developments, based on request ?
Unfortunately not, the decision regarding which countries are supported is made entirely by OpenAI and their legal team. We, the people on the community forum, have no say in that decision.
