Hi there. Today I was open ChatGPT. But I can’t find GPT-3.5 on ChatGPT for PC Browser and mobile app. Why not? I don’t know why this GPT-3.5 disappear. If anyone is familiar with ChatGPT, please help me.

I was shocked when i saw i have access to GPT 4.o mini even after my limit is over. But then i realised there is no mor GPT 3.5.
3.5 is replaced by 4.o mini but what is the use?
One thing is clear that the computing power or the understanding power or u know, the power of AI will clearly improve. But it merely affects everyday uses nd we won’t see a difference.
So what matters is the additional features like access to internet (or real time data), analyse images, generate images etc. Sometimes the improved AI performance can also make a good difference but these features are more important for an ordinary user.
Sadly Image access - generate and analyse, access other GPTs etc all do not include with this. We can’t access them once our limit is over (The topic of my reply is that i can access gpt 4.o mini even after my free message limits are finished).
Then there is the one useful feature remaining - access to real time data. This feature alone have a great use and importance. We can do so many important things like distinguishing fake news.
Then comes the funny part. I directly asked ChatGPT does it have access to info,sadly to which it replied it do not nd have info upto October 2023 only. But then i asked it in a new chat about a latest news (as of 21 July 2024). I said about it nd it correctly replied. So i asked when this occured to which it again correctly replied.
When i mentioned about this conflicting situation it says it answered based on the info i provided - but i didn’t say anything at all.

The Health Minister of our state just officially announced this report just yesterday nd the patient has been hospitalised since July 13 which ChatGPT correctly said.
So we can understand or deduce that it do have access to real time data.
As a conclusion, switching from gpt 3.5 to gpt 4.o mini is good for us common people if my finding of access to real time data is true.

Chatgpt 3.5 is still available when you are not logged in to your account.
Go to the ChatGPT home page and look at the top left corner. You can see it saying 3.5.
