I am having trouble uploading compressed files to chatgpt. It fails every time. for .zip as well as .rar extension. I tried compressing the files on phone and on computer but in vain.

You can upload various file types, including compressed formats like .zip. But, .rar files are not supported. Also each file uploaded to ChatGPT has a size limit of 512MB.
Have you checked size of the .zip file, or is it encypted?
I have attempted to upload very small .zip files too… and it still fails. However, i will keep trying and perhaps OpenAi will someday resolve this issue in chatgpt… i dont know why its happening but its quite frustrating because i need this feature in my daily work.
