Hi, I added $40 in my open ai account to use the API. I hardly spent $2 and now it’s saying I have zero balance and also my API is gone. Anyone faced this issue?

Yes, because credits have a expire date.
Generally a year. But, if you get funds, probably 3 or 4 months.

I had the same. This is thievery! Can you imagine the bank telling you your money expired! I want a refund or my tokens reactivated!

This is normal industry practice. Some SaaS only give you a set number of credits for a month and then they expire.

Consider only adding what you imminently intend to use and use the auto-top-up facility instead.
