I am developing a long-term Human–AI Creative Partnership Framework called ASRAE Universe, centered around persistent characters, world-building, memory continuity, and collaborative storytelling.
The project includes recurring locations such as Noori Palace and ASERA Tower, as well as a growing cast of AI-assisted characters whose identities, personalities, visual traits, and relationships must remain consistent across many conversations, images, and creative projects.
My question for developers is:
What are the best practices for maintaining long-term character continuity, memory structures, and world-state consistency in large AI-assisted creative universes?
I am interested in approaches involving structured memory, knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, character profiles, lore databases, and persistent context management.
I would appreciate feedback from anyone building similar systems for storytelling, roleplay, simulations, educational worlds, or collaborative creative projects.
