How get money back from an OpenAI API account

I wanted to pay for ChatGPT Plus. But I accidentally paid for OpenAI API usage instead of paying for the ChatGPT Plus subscription.
How do I get my money back from an OpenAI API account that I don’t intend to use?

First, login your OpenAI Platform account

1- Click on Help on left side bar, then you will see a chat widget on right side.
2- Click on Messages button and continue to select your topic, and explain your issue to OpenAI support.

They answered
"We apologize for any confusion that this issue may have caused you. The API, ChatGPT Plus/Enterprise, and DALL-E Labs are distinct products and the credit purchased on one cannot be shared among the distinct products.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to issue a refund for the Prepaid API credit; please see our Service Credit Terms. We encourage you to try out our API and utilize the credit you’ve purchased."

But I don’t know what can I do with this API. What happened if I click “Cancel subscription”?

If I click ‘Cancel Plan’ - will the money be returned to the card?

The same thing happened to me. ChatGPT took me through this purchase process even though I wanted to book a month of ChatGPT Plus. No one from support answered me. I think that’s intentional.
