While working on my big project, I realized that 5x wasn’t enough, so I immediately bought 20x. Overnight, after about 30,000 lines, my entire weekly limit was used up. Later, I found out that there are so-called “banked resets,” and some people have as many as 3–5 of them. I want to know how I can get them now and what they cost.

Banked resets are promotional Codex rate-limit resets, they aren't something you can normally purchase.
Eligible Plus and Pro users may receive them through limited promotions, such as launch rewards or successful referrals. The number of resets, eligibility, expiration, and other details depend on the specific offer shown in the Codex app.
To check whether you have any available:
Open the Codex profile menu.
Select the usage summary (for example, "1 reset available").
If eligible, you'll have the option to apply a reset when you reach or are close to your usage limit.
There isn't a purchase option for banked resets. If you don't have any available, the paid alternative for eligible Plus and Pro users is to purchase Codex credits under Settings → Usage → Credits. Credits are separate from banked resets and are consumed based on the model and token usage.
