Horrible AI editor. Is this any hope of a better editor

After slinging code in .NET i got used to a great editor. The editor could take add ins and pretty friendly. I have been trying to figure out a work-around but is legally impossible to begin with. So until OPENAI comes up with a decent editor for coding we are stuck with a very very basic editor. I don’t think a new editor is high on the the todo list at OPENAI. Any ideas???
