I’m just curious about how deep instructions should go for programming a GPT. It seems that every time I add a layer of instructions, it loses what was previously inputted. Am I doing something wrong or is my expectation too great?
You can go to your GPT’s configure section and setup custom instructions directly

@crystallynn You can attach knowledge files as instructions and then say use text file x when y happens.
Something I’ve found helpful is using steps to sequence out the instructions when writing them.
