Hey guys, I remember “way back” when gpts were going to be released, perhaps a few weeks before release, and a lot of people were comparing them to the new android/iOS play store/app store. I was skeptical, not hating on it, but skeptical about this comparison and even created a topic on this forum to express my opinions.
I didn’t believe in that idea all that much. I do like the functionality, I respect and appreciate the effort behind it. I just personally didn’t use them all that much when they were called plugins. I did build some plugins and some gpts but turned them off after a couple of weeks of no one using them.
So I am curious, has anyone that created gpts got users and furthermore, has anyone made money off of them? As far as I know, there hasn’t been any metrics released on it, so I decided to create this topic to understand a little bit more about my hypothesis.
