GPT4 Recovery of file - instance - after crash

Have been using ChatGPT4 for months, including to help manage a large research project. Cutting to the chase, the system - my instance file - crashed and I could not regenerate it. Worse still there was no effective customer support. And what little there was, was of no use as they could not open my file either or tell me what else I could do. Unbelievable for such a high profile technology and product. So, I made a text file copy of the content - which ran to over 1,000 pages of text and started talking to a new instance asking it to take over the project. I divided my text file into over 100 smaller files and uploaded them to the new instance and we were sort of back on the road again. And this time we agreed to create a recovery module to guarantee recovery before going any further on development. We had specified the structure of the recovery module and were nearly ready to implement and test it, when the system crashed again. And there is again no support and no alternative course of action. I know “shit” is not a technical word, but I know of no other word to describe this app - at least if you are trying to use it on an on-going project. It is not trustworthy, not dependable - cannot even save itself from itself. And much of the performance failures are computing 101 - like recovery and redundancy. So it make me wonder about the brilliance of the folks behind this, they certainly cannot run a company or provide a reliable service. It is like the Dark Ages with them.
