GPT Usage Metrics Visibility

Previously, it was possible to see how often a particular GPT had been used, but it seems that this information is no longer displayed. I found this usage count helpful for understanding the popularity and utility of different GPTs. Any ideas?

This looks like a deliberate decision. No view stats for personal or “explore” at any sub-menu.

In network requests of a browser, you can look at the response for a listing of “my GPTs” or the individual GPTs by URL.

“vanity metrics” returns null. You can check for store GPTs to see if they have values.

num_interactions, still available, is likely individual chat inputs. However, that is possibly your personal statistics.

I can’t report more, because anything I’ve ever shared to public I’ve deleted.

They are removing an important metric. I think it might be because this metric is not reliable, but I believe they should provide a replacement, such as analytics to see how many users were engaging with it before removing this feature.

Removing usage count without any notice in advance is not fair… actually I and my friends have spent a lot of time operating and upgrading gpts since it’s launch to make popular gpts…and now everything is meaningless…

Not a good choice by OpenAI to remove the chat counter. We want it back!

Perhaps due to unexpected continued interest, the gamification is now back.
