Dear forum friends,
I’m reaching out to you with a slight frustration: for the past two days, I’ve been experiencing difficulties connecting to GPT-4. Every time I try to make a request, even the simplest one, I keep getting the same error message: “Hmm… something seems to have gone wrong.” It’s quite frustrating, especially considering that the lower, free version is working perfectly fine.
I’m starting to suspect there might be a server connection issue on GPT-4’s end. I’d like to know if anyone else in the forum is experiencing the same problem at the moment, especially if you’re located in Italy. Or, if anyone has encountered this issue in the past and found a solution, I would be extremely grateful if you could share it.

I suspect is not a problem with the location. I’m in the US, and I am experiencing the same thing. It is also happening on my Android app, where it tells me there is a problem with the server. The status page says that there was a problem on the 17th, but it also says the problem has been resolved, so I don’t know if this could be related to that or if it is something else.

Hey @fuska70, on another post about this issue, somebody suggested to try an upload a picture first, let the bot comment on it, and then continue chatting with it. It is working for me.

Thanks @jslw1014 worked for me too, as far as I think this “loophole” rather absurd. It would be nice for someone to tell us why this is happening!
