Getting a notfication "You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details." when i try to put my API key in

I’ve never actually chatted to any of the bots yet, since it never let me, yet it says i need to update billing?

Have you set-up your credit card for your API account?


I think we in the same boat. I have an upgraded chat account but the api account is separate. So you api account is on the free tier and you don’t have any credits.

But, when I try and upgrade the account I just keep getting an error message that I’m doing to many requests to slow down. Frustrating as hell…

That seems to be from OpenAI’s connection to their card payment processor. Meaning OpenAI is the one who needs to slow down with all the people wanting to put payments into their accounts!
