I have a suggestion that I believe could enhance the user experience in ChatGPT. Currently, the system only notifies users when the memory is 100% full, but there is no way to track memory usage progressively. I think it would be incredibly useful to have a memory usage percentage indicator displayed in the settings menu. Users could see a progress bar or a numerical percentage, allowing them to monitor their available memory and decide proactively when to clear or reset their memory instead of waiting until it is completely full.
This would allow users to see if they are at 75% or 90% memory usage and take action accordingly. I am excited about the potential improvements this feature could bring to the user experience.
