Please add: “Copy Project to Another Account”
I use two completely separate ChatGPT accounts:
My personal ChatGPT account
My company’s ChatGPT Business account
I intentionally keep them separate.
But sometimes I develop a useful project in my personal account that I later want to use in my company’s Business account.
Right now, there isn’t an easy way to copy just that Project.
What I’d like
Add a simple option:
⋯ → Copy Project to Another Account
Select the destination Business account, confirm, and ChatGPT copies:
- Project instructions
- Chats
- Files
- Project context/knowledge
- Project settings
The original stays untouched.
Why “Copy” matters
I don’t want to migrate my entire personal account just because one project became useful for work.
This would create a very natural workflow:
Experiment personally → Develop the project → Copy it to Business → Continue working there
It would also be useful for copying an individual chat between separate accounts.
And to be absolutely clear: I’m not talking about the Personal/Business workspaces within one account. I’m talking about two completely separate ChatGPT accounts with separate logins.
