Problem: Current search helps locate a conversation, but not a specific place inside a long thread. In lengthy technical discussions, architectural reviews, or coding sessions, finding the exact prior mention of a term, decision, code snippet, or requirement is difficult.
Requested behavior: Add in-thread search for the currently open conversation, with next/previous match navigation, match highlighting, and optional filters for user messages vs assistant messages.
Why it matters: This would reduce friction in long chats, improve reuse of prior work, and make desktop usage materially better for research, debugging, architecture discussions, and code-review workflows.
Nice-to-have details: keyboard shortcut, results count, jump-to-match, support for partial matches, and preservation of search state while scrolling.
