I had a feature request.
The overarching problem is that one gets lost within each chat of what all has been conversed and when. Then scrolling all the way to the area of where you had certain conversations, or trying remember and deduce what unique words you used to find within the page and jump to it.
My basis of comparison is outline features in text editors (PDF files, markdown, MS and Google word docs, etc.). On the left or right, there is a panel where you can see the headings of things. ChatGPT currently has this for different chats. However, I strongly urge something similar were created for within chats as well.
This could be implemented in a few ways. One is a typical outline panel on the left or right. This could be the verbatim beginning portion of each prompt one sent, or it could be a summary words for each prompt you had sent.
Another approach I see that of being able to simply collapse all responses from ChatGPT in the chat. This negates the necessity for a separate outline panel. And if doing so, perhaps this would also permit collapsing specific portions and responses as well.
Thank you
