Failed to login ChatGPT apps on IOS

Hi everyone, I have issue with login in ChatGPT apps on IOS -

I try several methods such as reinstalling and restarting the phone but doesn’t seem work.

Side note, I can login my account in safari browser successfully.

May I know how to resolve this issues?

Since you can log in through Safari but not through the iOS app, this sounds specific to the app login/session flow rather than your account being completely inaccessible.

A few things I’d recommend you to try, based on what Support suggested that I’d try when I had a another login issue with iOS a month back:

  • make sure the ChatGPT iOS app is fully updated
  • try switching network/Wi-Fi/mobile data
  • disable VPN/private relay/content blockers temporarily if you use an
  • reinstall again after restarting the phone (which you’ve already done)

If it still fails, I’d contact OpenAI Support through the Help Center and include the screenshot, iOS version, ChatGPT app version, login method used and approximate time of the failed login.

In the meantime, using ChatGPT through Safari/browser seems like the best workaround since that login still works for you.
