Login failed on ChatGPT app

Hi OpenAI team,

I found a login issue when I tried to log in on my iPhone.

Link: https://chatgpt.com/apps/booking-com/connector_69272cb413a081919685ec3c88d1744e

Devices:

  • iOS version: 26.5
  • Model Name: Iphone 16 Pro Max

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to the Apps on desktop and click Booking.com app.

  1. Copy the link of Booking app and paste it into the Safari browser, then the ChatGPT app will be open; after that, click the Connect button.

  1. Got this error when logging in with an email address.

Hi @phungphancong1590,

From the screenshots, it looks like the mobile flow may not be using an already logged-in ChatGPT session, because it shows the “Log in or sign up” screen before the “Frame load interrupted” error.

I tried opening the Booking.com app from the Apps section while already logged into the ChatGPT iOS app and I couldn’t reproduce the issue. For me, the Booking.com app opened normally.

Could you please confirm:

  • whether you are already logged into the ChatGPT iOS app with the same account

  • whether the Booking.com app works if opened directly from the Apps section inside the ChatGPT app

  • whether the error only happens when opening the copied link through Telegram/Safari/deep link

  • whether Booking.com connects normally on desktop

hi @LarisaHaster,

  • Please try logging out of your ChatGPT account first, and then you can reproduce this issue.

  • If you are already logged into the ChatGPT iOS app, the Booking.com app will be fine. The key point I want to mention is that the user is not logged into ChatGPT.

  • This happened when you copied any links of the app and pasted them directly into Safari.

  • Desktop is ok.

Sorry my mistake, now I understand completely.

I tested the copied Booking.com app link in Safari while not already in an active ChatGPT session.

I also got “Frame load interrupted.” When I tapped Retry, the login screen appeared and after logging in it took me directly to the Booking.com app page.

So I can reproduce the interrupted frame during the unauthenticated Safari/deep-link flow, but in my case the flow recovered after tapping Retry and logging in.

Additionally, if you use the Google account login method, you will also encounter an error.

Yes, this looks like something Support/staff should look at now, since this is reproducible (on my end at least).

Have you already contacted them and opened a support ticket?

I’m also experiencing this problem, any updates?
