Errors in Input Stream Keep Happening

I am getting a lot of errors in input stream happening today. Is there something wrong?

Keeps saying “Hmm…something seems to have gone wrong.” “There was an error generating a response”

I’m experiencing the same, for the past 15 hours or so.

ChatGPT is almost unusable. However, OpenAI Playground seems to be fine. Unfortunately, my custom GPT is in ChatGPT.

Same here. Never experienced something like this before. What’s going on?

I am also getting these errors. OpenAI Status says the site is operational so what is happening??

Same here. Getting this error on every chat that I try to use today… Old conversations or new chats = Hmm…something seems to have gone wrong.

I dont see any outages posted but do see downdetector dot com shows a ton of recent reports today

I’m having this error “Error in input stream” and “There was an error generating a response”. This happens in a project folder I am using when I start a new chat in the project.
It has a regenerate button below and just keeps going in a loop providing similar but different answers.

“Retry” merely induces another error:

However, a window.reload() (as suggested) removed the error message, without regenerating the answer.

Previous occurrences appear to have been related to service degradation. [2]
