Same error plus my CPU gets loaded and thinks for like 5-10 seconds before every message is sent out from my machine to chatgpt.

This messages appears since I did my paid account in GPT. Why is this happening. It do not works for me like for the last 2 days.

Me too. I just asked it about Dodochain and bitcoin and then it blocked me saying “Unusual activity has been detected from your device. Try again later.” I am using ver 4o. I opened a new chat window, and again it blocked me. I am using Chrome. I have an ad blocker.
Quick update. Since many of you are still having this issue, starting from today, for me the issue is again happening. I also suggest as a temporary fix to not try to regenerate the response, just click on “edit” the prompt you asked and resend it. This way worked for me now, as it`s happening almost constantly in the last 24 hours (using GPT4o) works perfectly for now, with GPT4. Hope it helps.

Hey everyone, is anyone else encountering the “Unusual activity detected from your device. Try again later. (89c17a2c6d5d6553-LHR)” issue? I’m having to refresh my browser multiple times, which results in 2-3 responses being generated each time. This is causing me to exceed my usage limit. I dont understand why 3.5 now is better than 4.0 and 4. I am on ChatGPT plus, if anyone can help please!!!
im running a gpt starter script ( a few hundred lines explaining a software project) to give gpt a better context each time, but lately im seeing this several times aday ( Unusual activity has been detected from your device. Try again later. (89c1cd62d8be9902-ARN), and same as [samirahmamode], I’m a plus user.
I am customizing different scripts for GPT and encountering the same issues. Based on previous comments, I would guess that this error consistently occurs with non-English users and prompts.

I can’t work with ChatGPT any more. What is the sense to make it free if it doesn’t work. For all my questions I get

I tried today, yesterday, the day before yesterday.
And what now? It is two months as problem exists and it seems nothing is done to solve it. So, should I say good bye, ChatGPT?

Same here too. Fairly unstable. Frankly, rather make the Plus 5 $ more expensive then these issues or consider less free access. Otherwise this will lead to users going for alternatives.
This message is also showing for PAID customers. It started happening after I used the app and then delete to finally use it on browser and I simply can’t. ZERO support
