Download the Firefox browser. Use it specificly for ChatGPT.
It workedpartly for me. I’m getting less errors. Try it out…
I have already used this plugin, but the problem still exists. I’m not sure if it’s a VPN issue or an OpenAI issue.
I write one or two prompts and have to refresh. It happens on my desktop and mobile. It feels like I’m paying to get frustrated.
I’m pretty sure it has something to do with them adding Cloudflare to the site. The page has to authenticate you after a while to stop bots from spamming the servers
What worked for me was using a VPN
Yes, I posted this to hope that the officials will see our feedback and help solve this problem. After all, this is an issue with the application, not with us users.
My workmate in canada has no this problem, and we used vpn have this problem? I use this plugin can resolve this problem, and I set interval to 150 not the default 30.
Same issue as everyone here. I’m not even on a VPN and never experienced anything like this on other websites.
Hopefully, the OpenAI team can quickly fix this problem!
I am having the same problem stated above. ChatGPT, please fix this. We are paying for a service that should work.
I am having the same problem. It is intermittent, in as much as I will get some service answers and then I will introduce a new question and then its back to the same error “Something went wrong. If this issue persists please contact us…” - I am paying for access to the service and would greatly appreciate a fix asap.
I still have the same problem without using a vpn. According to the service statuts, everything is ok. I don’t understand what is wrong…
Only alternative option i see is try to apply for api access . i see for gpt 3 no need apply approval but gpt 4
For me, I think it is related to VPN: I work from home using a VPN to my company. I installed a linuxserver/webtop on my NAS. This one does not use the my company’s network and chatGPT works just fine with it. My personal laptop, that doesn’t go to my company’s network, doesn’t have any issue as well.
So my assumption is that openai is probably (very wrongly) protecting itself from IP adresses from which too many requests are issued, without taking account company networks and VPN, which is very bad.
But, still, I may be proved wrong.
Just refresh your browser, and it will work fine again. Ur welcome.
Refreshing the page does not solve the problem with me.
I’ve tried with VPN now without and i still get the same issue. anybody can help?
I have NordVPN on MacOS and it loads at startup but does not connect. I was experiencing this issue even without actually connecting through the VPN. I exited the NordVPN app and the problem went away.
