Apparently the edit button has went missing since yesterday, and it still hasn’t come back. I can’t edit the first post in none of the pages.

Same , the edit button is gone again. Hopefully, OpenAI can fix the problme since it is an important feature. The edit button.

This is a problem that needs to be fix as soon as possible. Since I use Chatgpt at work and it is a great helper.
As of now 8:54am PST , the edit button missiing has not yet been solve.

Same here. I noticed this issue since yesterday but still no edit prompt button.
BTW, I noticed the whole edit button < div > tag was removed from the html

True , it is annoying and inconvenient not ot have the edit button.
Annoying. But I assume it’ll be fixed soon (if not soon, at least tomorrow) since they said it was a bug. Just be patient, and we should get it back shortly.

We can just wait for them to fix the issue. Hopefully, it will not take a day or two for them to do it. The edit button feature is one of the things that makes chapgpt from other platforms.
True. That’s what separates ChatGPT from the rest of the AIs.
OpenAI is making some poor decisions lately. Attempting to remove the edit button, not testing the UI before rolling updates out, not fixing the spaghetti CSS code… the list can go on.
But I’m optimistic. The issue should be resolved (the keyword is SHOULD be) today, tomorrow, or at least the day after. Again, just be patient.

I agree. There is another problem , this time with the prompt slelection buttons. Instead working like 1 /3 , as normally would . Now , it starts at 0 then only moves to the second generated prompt and not go over to the last generated prompt.

Beside the edit button, that’s another issue I saw many users reporting, somehow seems related to the edit button.
When will openai address this issue? Is impacting greatly our workflows

More like neglecting to fix it.
