I’m a ChatGPT Plus user and until about a week ago, I had a limit of 50 messages with GPT-4.5 per week
But today I noticed that my limit dropped to just 20 messages.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Was this change announced somewhere, or is it just temporary?
yeah, i’m experiencing that too T-T it was truly a bother because i use it to study. i hope it’s just a temporary thing because i dont think i can afford to wait three hours everytime before i can continue
Hell no this is such a horrible company I’m getting 10 messages a week!
Didn’t even say just said “you hit your limit for 4.5 your limit will reset next week”

I have noticed that on my end as well, even though my limit reset today, it told me that I got 20 messages left and will reset next week as well, which was weird because last week, my limit was 50 and now they change it to 20. I did not even use it that quickly as I thought that it would still be the 50 messages limit like last week and now its 20, this is actually and just plain ridiculous.
I also checked on any announcements about lowering the limit for 4.5, it did not show any announcements. I feel that this is just out of no where with no announcements about 4.5 message limit because lowered from 50 to 20 messages.
As of 9:00 AM KST on April 8th, the message limit for the GPT-4.5 model has been reset.
While the limit was 50 messages last week, I have noticed that it has been reduced to 20 messages today.
Is there any recent official announcement regarding this change?

OMG, me too. So annoying.
Is it me or did OpenAI just decrease the limit again to 10 per week, I wasn’t even using it for that long as my ChatGPT-4.5 Limit recent reset today.
