Issue After updating to the July 14 desktop application, my existing ChatGPT Projects no longer appear in the desktop app. The projects are NOT deleted. When I open ChatGPT in Chrome using the exact same Business workspace and account, all Projects appear normally. The desktop application only shows the new “ChatGPT Work” navigation. Expected Behavior The desktop app should display the same ChatGPT Projects that are visible on the web version of chatgpt.
Actual Behavior Browser (web-chatgpt): - Projects - Chats - Agents - GPTs
Desktop App: - New Task - Projects (Work Projects only) - Scheduled - Plugins - Sites - Chat
The individual chats still synchronize correctly, but the Project containers/folders are completely missing.
Troubleshooting Already Performed - Verified correct Business workspace - Verified same account - Signed out/in - Checked for updates - Latest desktop version installed - Projects confirmed intact on web-chatgpt
This appears to be either a regression or an incomplete implementation in the new ChatGPT Work desktop application. I can provide screenshots showing the browser displaying the Projects correctly while the desktop app (logged into the same workspace) does not.
