Facing this weird date/time issue when logging into the new Mac app…

Same problem here. Got the notification on the website to download the app, but can’t login.
It started working for me today.
I uninstalled, redownloaded and reinstalled the app (https://persistent.oaistatic.com/sidekick/public/ChatGPT_Desktop_public_latest.dmg). Tried changing my timezone to IST with my VPN location set to India, but no luck.
Then I flipped the timezone back to current location (New York) and turned off VPN. Post that, I was able to go through the login flow.
Tried this, nothing yet 
didn’t work, could anyone fix that ?
I do not use vpn so I can’t turn it on have the same problem
Just happened November 4 2024, one day after daylight-saving time change. Adding 1 hour to my current time fixed it. So yeah, seems to be a problem with correctly handling time offset changes?
