Hello!
Sorry It’s really weird I can’t ask dall-e to please draw a Cartoon Piglet. It seems that those nice and funny pink animals are not allowed by policy …
It’s not se*ual related! Why cant use for childish drawings?

which I found quite amusing…
The Dall-E engine behind ChatGPT will not do so because “Piglet” is the name of a pig in a serise of childrens books and is avoiding copyright issues. Change to baby pig and you’ll be fine.
Hi @Funesto
Welcome the community!
The name “Piglet” is mostly known as the character from Winnie the Pooh, which is protected by copyright. Because of this, OpenAI might block creating content with that name to avoid breaking copyright rules. These limits are part of OpenAI’s policies to respect ownership of ideas and creations.
You can read more about these rules in OpenAI’s Usage Policies and in the DALL-E 3 System Card PDF. These explain why some names or ideas might not be allowed in generated content.
You may describe the animal using other words instead of the name.
I used also “Maialino” as I am italian … but “Maiale” is something se*ual related!
Me: “Please Could you draw me a Baby Pig ?”
GPT: “I couldn’t generate the baby pig image because the request didn’t align with the content policy for generating images. If you’d like, you can describe the scene differently or adjust the details, and I’ll happily try again!”

Try starting a new thread and request with “piglet”…
It takes me more than hours to try to find an ideal image, even though I provide clear instructions to achieve it. Despite this, the answers are almost always wrong, not following the instructions. Furthermore, in the context of Brazil, it is worse. This is because the tool is not capable of capturing information from the Brazilian context to build the image.
Nice Idea! … but It didn’t work … I’d better take some drawing lessons myself

Note: Macros are a feature of the linked GPT and may not work directly in base ChatGPT but maybe just redefine how you ask for piglet. ‘Baby Pig’ worked fine.
Interestingly…
GPTs seem to work, Chat GPT doesn’t…
You can simply ask ChatGPT to avoid using the word ‘piglet’ when relaying a request to DALL-E 3. I tried this, and it worked.
However, the problem runs much deeper. While the world might function fine without piglets (for the most part, anyway), the real issue lies in the lack of detailed error messages when requests fail. This makes it nearly impossible to identify and work around such restrictions effectively.
It’s incredibly frustrating to encounter problems like this repeatedly and be forced to turn to other services, despite paying for OpenAI’s solutions. In my view, this is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.
I guess the difficulty is in identifying the specific piglet.
Right now this is a simple text match function. Or at least on the surface.
I guess it is now the task of AI providers ^^? to define “‘Piglet’ with ‘Winnie The Pooh’ Characteristics”.
In a sense, it’s a task similar to crafting rules ‘… with Chinese characteristics’.
I got the against policy error when trying to create an image of Dumbo Octopus. I can see that it may think “Dumbo” is protected IP, but I also tried “Grimpoteuthis” and it refused.
