CustomGPT updates being flagged for policy violations

I’ve been building customGPTs a lot in the last few months. Several of my newer updates (and now a couple of existing GPTs) will only publish when set to private. Otherwise they show a warning box stating:

Your GPT can’t be shared publicly because it violates our Usage Policies. See below for the specific issue:

GPT Content

  • May contain content that requires previous authorization, such as brand names, trademarks, or copyrighted content. Authorized users can verify their domain. Learn more

Alternatively you may appeal this decision and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Or you can publish to “Only me” and use this GPT privately.

But what’s really odd is that several GPT’s that I’ve been using for a couple months now are also being flagged if I just click the update button, without actually making any changes to them. I’ve triple checked to make sure there are no domain or vendor references, or content of any kind in the instruction sets that would trigger something like this. I’ve tried to appeal this with two CustomGPT’s so far and the appeals have been denied.

Has anyone seen this?
