Current image generations endpoint "v1" versus DALLE2

Hi! I started a site at AIArtGenerator.online and noticed that the faces being generated by the DALLE api calls are nowhere nearly as good as DALLE2. Also since the credit cost is $0.02 per image and DALLE is $0.13ish per credit (about $0.04x per image) I presume they are or will be different API endpoints?

Is there a way to use DALLE2 via api call yet? I searched the forum and the site and everything always links to labs.openai.com but the api stuff is all v1.

As you know @jddungan18, you cannot select the image generation model with the API.

Is that what you mean?
