Codex weekly usage disappearing on failed or extremely slow tasks

Has anyone else noticed Codex becoming unusually slow and inefficient recently?

Today I gave it two relatively simple tasks. It struggled badly with both, produced very little usable work, yet somehow burned through virtually my entire weekly usage allowance. I’m now at 1% remaining.

This isn’t really about wanting a higher allowance. The problem is how much usage apparently gets consumed while Codex is struggling, retrying or failing to complete fairly ordinary work.

I’ve used Codex enough to know roughly what these sorts of tasks normally cost, and today feels completely different.

Anyone else seeing a sudden increase in weekly usage consumption or much poorer performance?

I’ve noticed codex (5.5 EH) getting stuck a lot recently, and making especially trivial mistakes halting execution. Sol feels even less stable, although I didn’t waste too much time with it.

So yeah, ‘thinking’ hallucinations or mistakes causing halts, errors, loops and token churn.

Can confirm.

Maybe that’s why token resets are on the horizon
