had to move off of windows (really bad OS) now im in ubuntu, missing the codex app, can we get the linux version guys please?
im missing the app too much.

no i still dont… there is too much issues ahha but maybe i can give my grain of sand, im using the port right now and it feels really good, but an official app would be nice.

I was thinking of using the same port, though I’m currently a Windows user, I’m looking forward to swtich to linux, and I do need codex, please let me know if the electron port of codex operates just like on windows? with the “full access” option, so I can make codex open, create, edit files and apps on my PC?
basically “computer use”, but that’s mac specific as of now ig, but it’s still there on windows, kinda..
One last questions, does it import all chats ? after we log in?

it operates just like the windows one, the guys have done a good job in making the wrapper seamless, although i use codex to update it since there are some upstream conflicts sometimes!
Where can I find the port?
We’ve been waiting a while, it is better to release when done instead of getting version 1 of the app but I’m wondering what the progress has been like, if we’re even getting it this year. I’m sure others must be able to relate, so far I’ve had to work with the CodexCLI and it’s not that bad but I’m hopeful the Codex App will be out and available sooner than I think. Fingers crossed!
