I think because it is community forum and not support forum. So the solution was found (solution). Support team has is own tracking system (I suppose) where the case may still be “in progress”.
It’s NOT solved.
And stop with the hypotheticals. They’re very unhelpful.
Read again: solution was found. Means “we know what the solution looks like” : support team is currently working on this, but it also means: we don’t know if it was fully implemented and all the accounts have been restored.
I’m not part of open AI support team, nor a part of open AI team.
I understand your frustration, and just tried to explain, politely, why this is marked as a solution and your account may still be not restored yet.
If you don’t like my response, I don’t care. If that’s the way you are trying to talk to people who spend their time to answer your questions, personally, next time I won’t answer to you.
@sergeliatko The main difference is that this topic is about a bug that caused accounts to be banned today.
That does not mean everyone whose account was suspended over the last few weeks will have their ban lifted because of this.
my account was banned 2 weeks ago. apparently a policy violation in an API org took down my entire personal account with it.
OpenAI support got involved and said they were looking into it, but since then there’s been no follow-up and I still have zero access.
seeing this made me wonder:
was there a wave of account bans in the weeks before today too? or am I the only one?
you have no idea how much it would ease my anxiety to know this didn’t just start today; that something was already brewing in the days before.
really hoping my case is somehow part of this and gets caught in the fix.
will proceed to continue patiently waiting and hope that at least i get my data back…
Well, did anyone get their subscription promocode work ?
I’ve got an unknown error.Wondering am I alone faced the problem
